Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting of the Partial Review Advisory Group, which will commence at 5pm.
The meeting will review the issues raised during the consultation, which took place this summer, and there will be an opportunity for public participation at the start of the meeting.
Councillor Peter Wharf, Chairman of the Council’s Partial Review Advisory Group, said: “Officers and councillors are reviewing the 3,300 responses to the consultation and this meeting enables the Partial Review Advisory Group to discuss the way forward.”
Councillor Wharf continued: “We appreciate that many people will be keen to talk during the public participation, but we need to ensure there is enough time for a proper debate. Therefore, may we ask anyone wishing to speak who shares specific concerns with others they know, that they please band together and nominate a spokesperson. This is in order to ensure that we hear as many differing viewpoints as possible.”
Anyone wishing to speak should register in advance with Purbeck District Council’s Democratic Services between 8.30am on Tuesday 25 October and 4.00pm on Monday 31 October. Please telephone 01929 556561.
The meeting will take place at The Purbeck School, Worgret Road, Wareham BH20 4PH.
The agenda will be available to view on the Purbeck Local Plan Partial Review Advisory Group webpages at www.dorsetforyou.gov.uk/meetings/purbeck from 4pm on Monday 24 October.
